Clan Canines and River from EDB worked together for a mutual client for over 12 months and River attended Clan Canines crusades 3 times a week during that time.
River has a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and a Masters degree in Applied Animal Behaviour & Animal Welfare. In addition, she has 16 years experience doing training and behaviour work with a wide range of animals, from orangutans and elephants to domestic dogs. She is a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and is currently working towards certification as a Clinical Companion Animal Behaviourist. She has been specialising in dog behaviour counselling for 4 years now.
"We are farily new to Clan Canines, and my strong & energetic dog has become so much better behaved when we are out and on the lead, which I know is due to the way Tammie interacts with the dogs and the good manners she instils!
I "found" Tammie when I was walking to work one day and was struck by how caring and patient she was with one of The Clan who was being a little bit reluctant to get in to the van. I spent days trying to remember what was written on the van and eventually remembered.
From the first contact with Tammie, I could see how professional and knowledgeable she was; the evidence of insurance, the registration with the Council, the evidence of the dog first aid training, dog training qualifications. From the daily posts she makes on the owner's private page you can see that the dogs love being out with Tammie and are stimulated when they are out, not just let off the lead and left to run riot as can often be the case. Fergus is a mud magnet (sorry Tammie) and he is always brought back to the house clean which is not an easy feat.
I am so grateful I saw Tammie that day and cannot recommend her highly enough. Fergus absolutely loves his walks with Tammie and his Clan buddies."

Not only does he love it, he has also improved in some pretty key training elements which is a huge bonus, and gets to hang out with all his Clan mates a couple of times a week which he loves. "Maisie is our 8 year old beagle who has had several dog walkers over the years. Before meeting Tammie, she had almost zero recall and lived for her next meal - anywhere or anything remotely edible. Tammie became our dog walker over a year ago and has been an absolute blessing. Nothing phases her in a beagle's world. Maisie returns home tired, content and sleeps for several hours after her walks. Maisie has also gone on the Clan Chieftain's Crusades and doesn't move for the rest of the evening! Tammie has walked my Westie over the last few months. My dog is always delighted to see her and can't wait for his weekly walks with her.
