Clan Canines are proud to be Scotland’s premium dog adventure and home boarding service. We have bases in Edinburgh and Galloway and we are now looking to expand our team further!
Last year we were absolutely honoured to be awarded the title of 'PET BOARDING SERVICE OF THE YEAR 2023/24' by Prestige Awards!!
Prestige Awards are allocated based on service excellence, industry recognition, employee satisfaction, marketing & branding, ethical practice and customer feedback, so we were delighted to be awarded this title!
At Clan Canines we take pride in offering a home-from-home boarding service, exclusively for the dogs who walk with us on a weekly basis. Restricting boarding to our regular dogs helps to ensure that they will get the maximum enjoyment of their holiday with the minimum of stress at being away from their favourite humans.
And that is where you come in....
We are looking to expand our team of home boarders in the Edinburgh area. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about dogs and who can provide a safe and loving holiday home for our Clan dogs. This role is on a self employed basis and successful candidates will have to meet some basic criteria;

You must have or be willing to apply for an Animal Home Boarding Licence from City of Edinburgh Council. In order to be successful in being granted a licence, you must own your own property and have a secure, private garden

You must have a suitable vehicle which is able to safely transport one or two dogs

You must live in the Edinburgh area
This role is flexible and hours will vary depending on demand. You would only be required to board one or two dogs at a time. It would be perfectly suited as a supplementary income to someone who works from home or for someone who is retired.

DOG WALKERS
As well as winning an award last year for our home boarding service, we are also proud to win the Prestige Award for 'Best Dog Adventure Service' in 2022/23.
We have a fantastic team of professional dog walkers and would now like to expand that team even further so we are currently seeking one or two self-employed dog walkers (aka Clan Chiefs!) to join our Edinburgh team!
Experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
The role can be P/T or F/T but will require a commitment to the same shifts every week.
You will need your own suitable vehicle and have, or be willing to apply for, a Basic Disclosure Certificate.
